Sometimes we come across fabric that has very minimal availability but is just too good to pass up. Typically we use those fabrics to make one off samples that only @kaceylynch generally has the luxury of wearing & owning but recently we have tried to think outside of the traditional apparel box & truly see how to maximize & also minimize our fabric waste or use.
This is a small testament to our version of “recycling” though this isn’t recycling whatsoever, we do try our best to be as mindful as possible to how we utilize materials. Outside of the environmental topic, we decided to use this fabric for something that isn’t so easy to dispose which is how these throw pillows came to fruition. This product idea was crafted from a session with our main guy @cesarstailorshop & being that Cesar is a wizard with the sewing machine & we were looking for ways to utilize minimal fabric, we came up with the concept of making a throw size pillow which was the perfect product to use just about every quarter of an inch of the remaining material. This idea has opened up our minds up to more ways we can up-cycle fabric for the near future.
